Philip is a Charlotte Native . Born July 25th in the early 80’s, music has always been in his ear.

From early jazz and classical music to rock, hip-hop, reggae, r&b, electronic, and more. Growing up from the Piedmont to the Coast was difficult, yet a major life experience, only a full auto-biography could tell. He started writing and rapping at 14 but never could get the hang of spinning vinyl. It wouldn’t be until March  2018b when his homie Alex P aka Churro Gang would have him learning to mix dubstep on the digital 1’s & 2’s. The following years, his mentors have included many veteran DJs, all of whom have personally given lessons and tricks of the trade in each of their preferred genres. Now PhilSoLogical can mix house, trance, DnB, breaks, Afro, and more.
