AETHER

Born and raised in Charlotte and a DJ of over 10 years, AETHER has changed his sounds and has experimented with various genres ranging from progressive house to trance to dubstep.

After a short hiatus from music starting in 2019, he has lived in DC and Chicago and was part of the bigger scenes in those cities. When he returned to Charlotte in 2022, he noticed the shift in the Charlotte EDM scene as the popularity of house music has made it to the premier venues and underground parties and he took the opportunity to get more involved. With a revived career as a local house DJ, AETHER has established relationships and witnessed the community grow faster and larger than ever before. His focus now is to help other local DJs get their footing in the scene, bring back bass music into Charlotte, and start the new wave of trap music in the 704. His preferred genres are melodic dubstep, future bass, and trap/wave.
